Looking to get a job? Pathstream has a network of hiring partners that can connect you to 8,000 open job opportunities.

You’ve worked hard to complete a Pathstream certificate program. Now how do you translate your new skills into a great job?

Pathstream’s Career Services offers multiple ways to launch the next chapter in your career. In addition to helping you define a job search strategy, update your resume, and prepare for interviews, Pathstream has hiring partnerships with job boards, staffing agencies, and employers that reliably help our students get a new job at companies large and small across the country.

Pathstream’s Hiring Partners Can Help You Find Internships, Apprenticeships, and Freelance Work

We can help you find both local and remote opportunities for internships and freelance work. Pathstream hiring partners with Parker Dewey to help our students access micro-internships posted by small businesses across the country. Employers post projects (like running a social media account or analyzing a data set) that they need help with and specify a rate they will pay. Then students can apply to these jobs, complete relevant projects, and start to add work experience to their resume — even before they finish the certificate program.

Pathstream also partners with Acadium specifically to help students in our digital marketing program find remote apprenticeships. Through Acadium, students are matched with a mentor and get to spend 3 months completing digital marketing tasks for a small business. This allows them to put their new skills into practice and gain important business contacts.

Finally, Pathstream recently launched a pilot program hosted on UpWork to help students find freelance work. Each week, students who opt-in are sent a curated list of UpWork projects that require the skills they learned in the certificate program. They can then apply and get hired directly. This can help them build a side income stream — and gain relevant work experience to list on their resume when they start applying for jobs.

Pathstream’s Hiring Partners to Help You Find a Full-Time Role

Pathstream’s Partnerships Team works tirelessly to connect students who are completing our certificate programs to employers who are looking to hire. We’ve talked to hundreds of companies and recruiters in markets across the country and have carefully selected a handful of partners who reliably help match students from all backgrounds to quality jobs.

WayUp is a job board specifically for entry-level talent. They often handle the first phone screen for companies and therefore can connect Pathstream candidates to interviews. For example, after completing our Digital Marketing Certificate, Angela Mason was connected to a job opportunity through WayUp for a startup company called Abound. She recently got hired!

We also partner with Kelly Services, one of the largest staffing agencies nationwide. Kelly helps fill open positions for some of the country’s biggest companies including Black and Decker and IBM. Specifically, Pathstream partners with Kelly’s new business unit, Kelly Discover, which is committed to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds find career-accelerating opportunities. All students who finish a Pathstream program and update their resumes are immediately connected with a Kelly Services recruiter for an interview.

We also work with CareerCircle, which is an affiliate of the Allegis Group and is similarly committed to helping people from a range of backgrounds access good jobs. Upon completing a Pathstream certificate, students create a profile through a dedicated Pathstream portal on the CareerCircle site. From there, they can immediately schedule a call with a recruiter to be matched with relevant data analyst, Salesforce admin, IT, digital marketing, or project management jobs.

We also just recently launched a new partnership with Hired, a platform that connects employers to talent with in-demand skills. Pathstream candidates get access to a dedicated portal where they can upload their resumes and be featured to employers.

We also work with a variety of local staffing agencies including Eastridge, Qualstaff, 7 Kings Code and others to place students in particular markets to local roles with the companies they work with. For example, Eastridge reliably connects candidates looking for data analyst roles to opportunities in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries in San Diego. These partners can be invaluable for connecting people to hidden opportunities right within their own cities!

Finally, we have a steady stream of recruiters from large and small companies reaching out to us to find new sources of talent. EY connects with Pathstream to find Salesforce Admin candidates. New Breed sources Salesforce Admin talent from Pathstream for their teams. Small business owners across the country reach out looking for digital marketing assistance. As these requests come in, we connect students with the right qualifications to these opportunities and often great matches can be made!

Our roster of hiring partnerships is ever-expanding, but we continue to focus on forging connections that can help our students access well-paying jobs in fast-growing fields on a very efficient timeline.
